На экзаменах и в реальном общении часто нужно описывать и сравнивать ситуации: фотографии, рабочие процессы, варианты обучения или путешествий. На B2 важно не просто перечислить предметы, а сравнить, противопоставить и сделать осторожные предположения.
Цель урока: научиться строить 1–2-минутное описание по картинкам: overall impression → similarities → differences → speculation → personal conclusion.
1. Фразы для сходства
- Both pictures show…
- In both pictures, the people seem to be…

2. Фразы для различий
- Whereas the first picture shows…, the second one shows…
- Unlike the first picture, the second one…
- The main difference is that…
- In contrast, the second situation seems more…
3. Speculation: осторожные предположения
Если вы не уверены в деталях, не говорите слишком категорично. Используйте фразы предположения.
- It looks as if they are working on a project.
- They might be discussing a problem.
- The woman seems to be giving instructions.
- Perhaps they are preparing for a presentation.
4. Структура ответа
- Overall: кратко скажите, что объединяет картинки.
- Picture 1: опишите главные детали.
- Picture 2: сравните со второй ситуацией.
- Speculation: предположите, что происходит и почему.
- Conclusion: скажите, какая ситуация эффективнее, удобнее или интереснее.
5. Полезные прилагательные
Для сравнения используйте точные слова: crowded, relaxed, stressful, efficient, informal, professional, traditional, modern, collaborative, independent.
Схема показывает язык сравнения, контраста и предположений по визуальной опоре.Common mistake: не описывайте каждую мелочь отдельно. На B2 важнее выбрать главные детали и связать их с выводом.
Practice lab: сравните две ситуации: работа в офисе и работа дома. Используйте минимум 2 фразы сходства, 2 фразы различия и 2 фразы предположения.
6. Визуальный prompt для тренировки
Для speaking-практики полезно работать не только со списком фраз, но и с конкретной парой изображений. Ниже — тренировочный prompt: сравните офисную встречу и работу из дома.
