После урока студент умеет строить связный B1-ответ с помощью простых linking words.

На уровне A2 студент часто говорит отдельными короткими предложениями. На B1 нужно показывать связь между мыслями: добавлять, противопоставлять, объяснять причину, показывать результат и порядок событий.

Основные группы

Функция	Слова	Пример
Добавление	and, also, too, as well	I like reading, and I also watch videos in English.
Контраст	but, however, although	The task was difficult, but I finished it.
Причина	because, as, since	I study English because I need it for work.
Результат	so, that is why, therefore	I was tired, so I went home.
Порядок	first, then, after that, finally	First, I read the text. Then I answered the questions.

Простой B1-ответ можно строить по схеме:

Idea: основная мысль.
Reason: почему ты так думаешь.
Example: пример из жизни.
Result: вывод или последствие.

Шаблон

I think ... because ... . For example, ... . That is why ... .

Типичная ошибка: начинать каждое предложение с and. Лучше использовать разные связки: also, however, because, so, then.

Пунктуация и позиция linking words

because часто соединяет причину: I stayed home because I was ill.
so показывает результат: I was ill, so I stayed home.
however часто стоит в начале нового предложения: The task was difficult. However, I finished it.
although вводит контраст: Although the task was difficult, I finished it.

Типичная ошибка: не ставь because и so в одну и ту же связь: Because I was tired, so I went home. Лучше: Because I was tired, I went home. или I was tired, so I went home.

Example 1. Separate A2 sentences

I like my job. It is interesting. It is stressful. I want to change something.

Example 2. Connected B1 answer

I like my job because it is interesting and I learn new things every week. However, it can be stressful when there are many urgent tasks. That is why I try to plan my day carefully.

Ответ стал связным: есть причина, контраст и результат.

Example 3. Story with sequence linkers

First, we booked a hotel. Then we bought train tickets. After that, we packed our bags. Finally, we left early in the morning.

Example 4. Opinion paragraph

I think online learning is useful because people can study at home. For example, I can practise English in the evening after work. However, it is important to do exercises regularly, not only watch videos.

Example 5. Because vs so

I missed the bus because I woke up late. = причина.

I woke up late, so I missed the bus. = результат.

Example 6. Although vs however

Although the lesson was difficult, I understood the main idea.

The lesson was difficult. However, I understood the main idea.
