Маршрут проще объяснять по шагам: старт → движение → ориентир → место.1. Places in town

2. Prepositions of place

next to — рядом с;
opposite — напротив;
between — между;
behind — позади;
in front of — перед;
on the corner — на углу.

4. Giving directions

Start with the place: Start at the station.
Give movement: Go straight for two minutes.
Add landmark: Turn right at the bank.
Finish with location: The pharmacy is opposite the café.

Типичная ошибка: on the left from the bank → to the left of the bank или on the left.

Useful description frame

I live in a quiet area. There is a small park near my house. The supermarket is opposite the bus stop, and the pharmacy is next to the bank.

5. Route language: коротко, ясно, по шагам

Когда объясняешь дорогу, используй последовательность: start point → movement → landmark → final position.

Чтобы маршрут был понятным, используй короткие команды и ориентиры: go straight, turn right, past the bank, on your left.

Useful pattern: Go straight for two minutes, turn left at the bank, and the pharmacy is on your right.

Example 1. Describing a flat

My flat is small but comfortable. There is a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. My desk is by the window because I like natural light.

The pharmacy is near to the bank. → The pharmacy is near the bank.

Clear route example

Go straight for about 200 metres. Turn right at the supermarket. Walk past the bus stop, and the clinic is on your left, opposite the pharmacy.
