Ты научишься рассказывать короткую историю о событии или личном опыте: где это было, что случилось, что ты делал и чем всё закончилось.

- Past Simple — основные действия: I arrived, I saw, I called.
- Past Continuous — фон: I was waiting, it was raining.
- Past Perfect на B1 можно понимать, но не обязательно активно использовать в каждой истории.

While I was waiting for the bus, it started to rain. I felt nervous, but luckily a taxi stopped nearby.

Типичная ошибка
Yesterday I go to the station and I see my friend.
Correct: Yesterday I went to the station and saw my friend.
Practice upgrade: добавляй детали, но не усложняй
История B1 должна быть понятной: where/when + people + problem + feeling + ending. Не нужно писать очень длинно. Лучше 6–8 ясных предложений.

Не смешивай времена без причины: Yesterday I go to the station and I was see my friend. Правильно: Yesterday I went to the station and saw my friend.
Примеры
Example 1. A short travel story
Last month I went to Berlin for a weekend. I was travelling alone, so I felt a little nervous. When I arrived at the station, I could not find my hotel. Luckily, a woman helped me and showed me the right train. In the end, I found the hotel and had a great weekend.
Why it works: the story has time, place, problem, feeling and ending.
Example 2. Using Past Continuous for background
I was walking home when my phone rang. It was my friend. He invited me to a concert, so I changed my plans.
Example 3. Feelings make stories more natural
Weak: I missed the train. I took a bus.
Better: I missed the train and felt really stressed. Luckily, I found a bus that arrived only ten minutes later.
Example: adding story details
Basic: I lost my phone. I found it later.
B1: Last Friday I lost my phone on the bus. At first I was really worried because my tickets were on it. Luckily, a woman found it and gave it to the driver. In the end, I got it back after an hour.
