Модуль 7. Reading B1: стратегии чтения и понимания · урок 34
Lesson 34. Instructions, reviews and practical texts
Объяснение темы
Read instructions, rules, reviews and practical texts; understand steps, opinions, warnings and recommendations.
Главная идея урока
Practical texts помогают человеку что-то сделать: установить приложение, пройти регистрацию, соблюдать правило, выбрать товар или понять отзыв.
| Text type | What to look for | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Instructions | Steps and action verbs | Open, click, enter, wait |
| Rules | Must / mustn’t / allowed | You must show ID |
| Reviews | Opinion + reason | clean but noisy |
| Warnings | Danger + action | Be careful: wet floor |
Extra reading checkpoint
In practical texts, mark sentence function: step, rule, warning, opinion or recommendation. This helps you answer questions faster.
Weak spot fixed: updated information
Practical texts often correct earlier information: “The tour was planned for 10, but it now starts at 11.” The correct answer is the updated information.
