Ты научишься выполнять типовые задания уровня B1 reading and listening: быстро понимать инструкцию, выделять keywords, замечать paraphrase и не попадаться на distractors.
Единый алгоритм для чтения и аудирования: instruction → keywords → evidence → answer → check.Core strategy| Step | Что делать | Пример |

Distractors часто похожи на правильный ответ, но отличаются временем, причиной, деталями или выводом.Important B1 rule
В B1-тестах часто проверяют не перевод отдельных слов, а same meaning in different words. Например: cheap может быть перефразировано как not expensive.
- Before listening: read questions and underline names, dates, numbers, places.
- First listening: choose possible answers.
- Second listening: check evidence and corrections like actually, sorry, I mean, not... but....
Common mistakes
I heard the same word, so it is correct. → Check the whole meaning.
I translate every word. → First understand the main idea, then details.
Слабое место многих студентов — выбирать ответ потому, что он похож на текст. На экзамене B1 нужен другой подход: answer = idea + evidence. Если ты не можешь показать строку в тексте или фразу из аудио, ответ ещё не доказан.

Example 1. Same word distractor
Text: The hotel was near the station, but it was too noisy.
Wrong option: The speaker liked the hotel because it was near the station.
Why wrong: The same word station appears, but the opinion is negative.
Example 2. Listening correction
Audio script: Let’s meet on Monday — sorry, I mean Tuesday — at half past six.
Correct answer: Tuesday, 6:30.
Example 3. Paraphrase
Question: Why did she choose the course?
Text: It was not expensive and the lessons were practical.
Answer: Because it was affordable and useful.
Example 4. Evidence line
Question: Why did Maria choose the online course?
Text: Maria liked the online course because she could study after work.
Good evidence line: She chose it because it was flexible: “she could study after work”.
